It involves washing away the surface of the cement paste to uncover the stone within the concrete.

You can choose from many different types of aggregates – from light to heavy exposure. Once the concrete is poured, we put a liquid called Top-Cast on top and then wash it the next day. This will allow you to see rocks and glass in the concrete

Top-Cast is a water-based, top surface retarder which does not require covering with plastic for protection. It is available in 12 depths of etching. It’s ideal for cast-in-place flatwork and the top surface of pre-cast concrete panels.
